Clooney, who plays a scientist trying to contact the astronaut group that has returned to a disaster environment surrounding the world, explained the strong shooting process he had by saying, “It took me a few weeks to recover, and as a director, this is not easy because you need a lot of strength.”

“We were on glaciers in Finland and that made our work even harder. However, this difficulty has definitely added something to my character,” Clooney added, and told Entertainment Tonight last month about the difficulties of losing weight for a role. “I lost about 11kg for this so I became very weak. I didn’t need a fitness trainer. At that point I was trying to continue weight loss, which is not eating. Changing yourself becomes much more difficult as you get older. That’s why I struggled a bit. It is very easy to gain weight, but it is much more difficult to lose it,” said Clooney, emphasizing that physical changes have become more difficult for their roles in recent years.
